I've followed the instructions, but can't get the app to send the courses to my watch.  Tried restarting the app, rebooting my phone, uninstalling/re-installing the app,  etc. Any suggestions?

@Pete-Fl Thanks for your reply and for providing those details. What mobile device and OS are you using? Any other courses that are causing this? Also, any courses that have worked for you?

@Toivo7 Thanks for reporting that! Will send the report. I'm also glad to hear that you were able to add other courses successfully.

@AntBoots Welcome to the Fitbit family! I'm glad to read that you were able to load the courses to Ionic. Please let me know how is it working!

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy

And? Have you fixed it? Theee have been 2 app updates and still can’t take off two of the three (limit) courses to add new ones

I’m still not able to “Start Round”. The app just exits.

Again, this was a course with 3 sets of 9.

Has anyone successfully played a round with the app yet using Android OS?

You have to log out of the app and log back in

I had to remove all courses and just add one even though you supposedly can add up to three. Maybe it’s a memory issue.

I tried again today with a 3 x 9’s course.

prior to loading the course, I had logged out of the App and logged back in.

i only downloaded the single course and it appeared to transfer OK.

At the course, when I selected “Start Round”, the app just exited.

i again reverted to the simple “ Golf GPS” app which worked fine.

OK.

Tried again with same results.

i had uninstalled the app, reinstalled, downloaded

 and transferred a single, (3 x 9’s), course.

Opened the app on the watch, selected Start Round and the app exited.

I’m going back to my Bushnell for golf and accepting that Fitbit just isn’t for golf yet.   Or what I bought it for and it does a good job for what I wanted.

I've played a few rounds now using it and it's worked great.  Added another couple of courses without any problems also

Good to hear.  Were all your courses straight 18 hole courses?

What OS do you have on your phone?

It's surprising how many different apps turn out to be useless. This one
though, I seem to have fixed the problem on mine, I hope that others do too.

Sorry about yours Pete.

Thanks hey, I managed to get it working by Logging out and logging back in.
That seemed to sync it back to where I wanted it. A couple of oaks have
emailed me back with no luck.

Yes - all 18 hole courses. I have OS 11.4

No, two of the three were. Portugal was 18 and Van Cortland too. Arrowwood
was a Front and Back 9. The app held up good. Sometimes by the 11th/12th
hole the watch keeps kicking out to home screen, and then I have to start
the app again and it catches itself up again. (both a pain in the arse and
"No Big Deal" at the same time)

It's good to let these guy's know about any problems there may be with the
app, so hopefully they can fix them.

Hi there @AdonisAstray@Dm_nolan@DeeGawro, and @Pete-Fl! I'm glad to hear that some of you have been able to sync all your courses, thanks so much for sharing the tips and recommendations that have worked for you.

If you're still having issues with your courses, please make sure that your Game Golf app is already on version v1.0.4. Additionally, provide with the following information:

  • Fitbit App version.
  • Phone model and OS version.
  • Name of the golf course.

If there's any questions present, let me know.

Hi

I would just like to clarify if the issues I’m having are because the
courses I’m playing are all 3 x9 hole courses or something else?

Has anyone successfully used the app to play a 3 x 9 hole course?

Thanks

Hey Pete,

Sorry to be ignorant but a 3 x 9 hole course is ?
Do you mean all three corses you loaded are 9holes each and you play them
three times?
The app my not be set up for that, let’s ask?

Regards,

Maybe I should have explained better. The courses have 3 x sets of 9
holes. When you play them, you play a combination of 2 of the 3 nines. An
example course is Mallory Hill Country Club, The Villages, Fl. This
consists of Caroline, Virginia, Amelia. There are lots of courses like
this in my area.

Oh, that sounds fun. You’ll have to play each round and end on The ninth.
Using the app that was was probably never tried or even considered.

Let’s ask them directly, let me know what the answer becomes.

I got to try that.
