How does the Versa sync weather?

Hi guys 

Was thinking of getting a fitbit versa. Can it update the weather app with the current temperature through a wifi connection only (ie the fit bit is connected to a wifi network but my phone is turned off) or does it have to sync through the Fitbit app.

Welcome to the Community Forums @IMeasureStuff! The weather needs to sync through the Fitbit app. If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:

• Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS? 
• All-day sync must be turned on in the Fitbit app.
• The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.
