How to add new fitbit to my existing app?

I received a new fitbit and would like to wear the old one at times and the new one at work. How do I pair the new one with my existing app?

but note especially this condition:

"Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time."

If you have 2 that will work together, you should remember to sync the one you are wearing right before switching.

If the 2 cannot go together, the only way would be to sync the current device, then remove it from app, then add other device to app, each time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I just purchased an Ionic and switch between it and my Charge 3.  It wasn't until setting up my Ionic that I realized there can only be one App Gallery device connected to your account.  Will there possibly be any future updates where we'll be able to at least link 2 of these devices instead of having to remove/add each time we switch?
