Hi,
I received an Ionic for Christmas but I am unable to work out how to get the Weather App to work.
I currently get the message "Go to the Fitbit App to setup the Weather"
Thanks

The issue remains. Has anyone actually “solved” the issue? When the weather app on the fitbit itself shows my location but asks me to “sync the mobile app”?

Hi there @sgarnott, thanks for jumping in here! If the weather for your current location doesn’t appear, check that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS?
If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.
To change the units used for the temperature in the Weather app:
Hello there @AndyAtkins! Thanks for troubleshooting this. Nice way to go!
Are you using the default Weather app from Fitbit or a Third-Party one? May I have the name of it? If you have been having syncing difficulties, please see: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Hope this helps, keep me in the loop! ![]()

Best AnswerOK, so now it suddenly works. Part of the issue, I think, is that the Fitbit needs to be connected to WiFi at the time of sync. Also there is a lot of confusion that comes from not being clear as to when the advisor is referring to 1) the Fitbit App on a phone vs 2) the watch itself vs 3) Fitbit.com on a computer.
At times you need to be navigating among all three of these, and then there are numerous “settings” referred to. All in all, it pays to be precise.

Hello, I don't know if anyone who needs this information still. But, Have you tired (Updating the Fitbit and TURNING OFF then TURNING on your Bluetooth on your cell phone. I did that one time after not having my weather for almost 8 months and it worked.
... but make sure you do this from your phone. Attempting this from your watch or your computer will waste a lot of time.
