Ionic apps not signing in (United Airlines, Uber)

I have downloaded these apps to my Ionic, and when I try to sign in nothing happens and the app does not function on my watch... I have even tried resetting the password and trying again but no success. The sign in credentials are correct as I can sign on through all other platforms. Help?

Nice to see that you're digging into the Fitbit Forums @malbarda, let me give you a warm welcome to our community.

 

Thank you for sharing those details about what is happening when trying to use these apps, you've done an excellent job trying those steps. I'd recommend removing the both apps and trying again following the instructions here: How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit device? It's also important to check the details in this other post: How do I set up and troubleshoot apps on my Fitbit device?

 

Important details: 

 

  • Confirm that both Fitbit app and phone are running the latest update and check permission for both apps.
  • To clarify, your phone (not just watch) will have to be paired to the same Wi-Fi network as your United.
  • I would also double check to make sure Bluetooth is enabled. 
  • You can then start the setup process from the United app located on your watch face (do not start from within the United app). You will then be given the correct prompts to finish the setup process. 
  • Also, make sure that United's app is up to date.
