Hey there!
I've been working on watch face that would help trigger lucid dreaming for a few months and I'm finally ready to show you a beta version! Now available for FitBit Versa, Versa 2 and Ionic!
Day Mode
The app will give you reality checks inputs throughout the day with the idea of creating a Pavlovian response. You feel the vibration and are prompted to do a reality check. Are you dreaming?
Look at your hand, count your fingers, anything weird? Try to push your left hand into your right palm. Can you bite your lips or feel your teeth with your tongue? Look at yourself in the mirror. Is that really you?
Night Mode
At night, when you’re ready for bed, click the Yin-Yang button ☯ to switch to night mode.
The Fitbit will monitor your movement and HR to identify REM sleep and in those instances repeat that same vibration pattern to transfer that sensation into your dream: You do a reality check and look at your hand. If you see that your third finger is a shape shifting sausage (or some other nonsense), you know you're dreaming!
Pattern
There’s a number of vibration patterns to pick from, I recommend to stick with one for a few days before switching so that you can give it a fair shot both during the day and the night.
You want it to be long and strong enough to be perceived but not so much that it’ll wake you up. (If it does, change the pattern to a lighter one for the next night. But since you're awake you might as well try a WBTB or FILD technique)
Background
The background is customisable with whatever picture you like. The default picture is an amazing shot of the Aurora taken from Space. You can find more beautiful picture on NASA website. Shout out to Nasa for their amazing collection!
Free coupons!
The app will be in free trial for 5 days then cost $9.99 BUT at this stage I’m giving out 100% discount coupons to the first people that want to give it a try and help me gather more data and improve the research.
If you do, all I ask is you send me your unique app number (will be printed on the logs, accessible clicking the time) and fill in a brief questionnaire, to learn about your habits (do you take sleeping pills, do you meditate, do you keep a dream journal).
And if you're having success with the app I might ask you to send me the full analysis of your sleep and chat about why you think worked.

Very interesting. One reason I wanted a Fitbit was to help lucid dream. Do you still need testers?
