No sound on Find my phone

When I want to find my phone, and when it says its making a sound, than there is no sound coming from my phone. Its connected with Bluetooth, so what can it be?

Hi @Kimdo - if the watch is actually connecting, this depends largely on the type of phone and it's current state and settings. Try restarting the watch and logout of the Fitbit App and restart the phone and try again.

You can try the free SimpleCheckUp app. This will tell you if its connecting to the Fitbit App [ and when you last synced and more], directly on the watch, so you don't need to get your phone out.

Even though it's connected to Bluetooth it may not be connecting with the app for some reason and this will tell you.

I tried everything, sometimes I hear a little beep, but not the melody that it should have. And the beep that I hear, is only once in a minute maybe. So I think its connected to the app, but just not working well. Other ideas maybe? It's a real bummer..

I'm assuming that the watch doesn't show an error message. I assume the phone has been powered off/on and not just a simple restart was performed. 

Hold your finger on the fitbit icon, then choose App Info. 

Tap App Notifications and make sure quiet mode is not enabled.

Thanks, You assumed right, I turned off my phone completely, multiple times, and not the simple restart. I deleted the app and installed it again. I turned off the fitbit, turned off the bluetooth, disconnected with everything and connected everything again, nothing works. Can it be because I have an Oppo phone?

Hi @Kimdo -  yes an Oppo is a bit special, couldn't find how to change it.

I tried it at a samsung phone, and it worked. With the Oppo I found out that it only works when the Fitbit app is on the display, whenever its on the background (and not swiped away) it doesnt work anymore, only sometimes those little beeps. Thanks for your help anyway!
