Notifications won't open on Fitbit device

I have a couple of apps (New York Times, email) that send me a notification. When I tap on the notice, I'm given a couple of options - "mark as read, delete and open". "Open" has a blue box with an arrow. If I tap "open", nothing happens. The message vanishes.  Is something supposed to happen? Thank you.

Hi @Sweakman. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for my delay.

 

I'm glad that you're getting advantage of the notifications feature. Let me share that the "Open" option is to open that notification but in your phone and not on the Fitbit device. Since you'll be reading that notification, it'll disappear from the notifications section automatically as your device will think that you don't need to keep being notified by that message.
