StepVerse Clock Face friend's current steps on watch don't match with Fitbit Dashboard

I have the Stepverse clock face installed on my Versa.  i really like the idea but it seems my friend's current step total on my watch do not match the actual step totals on their pages on the desktop app.  I'm looking at their current daily step totals and it doesn't match up.  I'm still within my 24h trial period so would like to keep the watch face after it is over.  Has anyone had any issues with the same clock face?

Hey, StepVerse developer here, I'm glad you figured it out! The reason for only showing the average is that's all the FitBit API can provide about your friends (I spend hours trying to find more accurate step counts hiding in there somewhere!). So I use my own server to sync steps between active StepVerse users.

Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂

Never mind I figured it out.  Reading is fundamental haha.  It says those without StepVerse, you can only see their daily averages, while those who do have the clockface, you can see live counts.  Still useful though to try and beat the daily average of those way overachieving friends on your list 🙂

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @iamquia, I'm glad to have a new member around! Robot Very Happy It's cool when a member raises a question like this, believe me, we all have questions and so many users come here to find the answer they're looking for. And I'm pretty sure there's a user around the corner maybe wondering the same about the StepVerse Clock face and you just have given us the answer. Smiley Very Happy

For future references, with third party apps, note that Fitbit doesn't own or maintain third party integrations. It's up to the owner of the third party app to implement or update features for their app so in this case is recommendable to contact the third party developer to learn more about future implementations.

To contact the developer please open their app on the Fitbit App Gallery, scroll/swipe down and under "App Details" you will find the information.

Rest assure we are working to deliver better options to our users, so once again thank you for your feedback as this help us to continue our work.

Stay awesome! Smiley Wink
