Ok I found an article in the help forum that says if you cannot correct your Weather to give you Celsius instead of Fahrenheit and have it already checked - do the following.

in the Fitbit App click your:

Profile Photo

Device Photo

Gallery or Apps

Scroll to Weather

Settings

Temperature Unit

Set it to the desired Value

 

it works!
