I'm based in Belfast in Northern Ireland. I upgraded to a Versa 3 in November 2020 and have had trouble ever since setting up Wallet. I have a Mastercard credit card, Visa Debit and Credit card and a Revolut Visa card but none are acceptable to Fitbit. Revolut Visa is acceptable in the south or Ireland but only Revolut Mastercard in northern Ireland and Revolut only supply Visa cards in the north.

I have contacted Fitbit support on a number of occasions but have just been told to restart the Fitbit or delete and reload the App. No one is really interested.

Any ideas?

Hi @Ballyhoy  Fitbit would like to have more banks allow the use of their cards, but it's up to the banking institution to join. Many people are having the same issue with their bank cards not being on the list in order to use them. All anyone can do is to ask their bank manager or credit card issuer to sign up with Fitbit. It's not that Fitbit isn't interested in helping you, but it's that your banking institutions aren't signing up for the program.

Great to get a sensible answer from someone. Shame is been over four months now and Fitbit support are still saying reboot the device.

@Ballyhoy I can't answer for fitbit but I do agree with@Odyssey13 in that when I have a problem with the wallet, I get a better answer by calling the number on the back of the credit card.

PS. I've moved this thread to the Fitbit Apps board.

Hi Ballyhoy,

Please tell me what gave you the impression that Revolut is accepted in the south.

I have spent countless hours trying to initiate Revolut, EBS. BoI cards all to no avail.

Why don't these guys just tell us our cads will not work, instead of their ridicules' marketing ploys,

promising all weird and wonderful things that they surly know will not work.
