Weather App doesn't sync on Versa

Hi, I have a fitbit versa. When I first purchased it,  all the apps were working. Then with my iphone software upgrade to 13.3 the weather app won't show what the weather is on my fitbit, just keeps telling me to sync the fitbit mobile app to update but that doesn't work. I have checked all my settings and they are the same. 

what can I do?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for your efforts while working on this. Although you mentioned to have checked all the settings, please double check the following conditions:

 

 

  • Location services must be set to "Always" for the Fitbit app.
  • All-day sync must be turned on in the Fitbit app.
  • The Fitbit app and the Weather App are updated to the latest version.
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

 

Once that is completed, I'd recommend to troubleshoot the Weather App:

  1. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app from your iPhone.
  3. Reboot your phone and restart your watch.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Versa icon.
  5. Scroll down, tap on Sync Now and wait until it completes the process.
  6. Check the Weather App on your watch. Please note that it can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations.

Hi,

I’ve done everything you’ve suggested but nothing has worked.

I did a factory reset and now this is what I’m seeing on my phone.

I can’t seem save a location setting to the app either.

Seems to be an app to phone issue

Thanks for your efforts while troubleshooting your watch on your own. Since your post didn't mention, may I know if you try the rest of the steps described in my previous post? If not, please give them a try so the Weather app can update on your Versa.

 

Now, if the issue persists and you're unable to save a location setting, please take a screenshot of what is displayed on the Fitbit app so I can look into this. To attach it in your reply, check the instructions from this post.
