Weather app is not updating on my Versa

A few days ago I noticed the weather not updating.  When I click on my weather app,  it says sync the fitbit mobile app to update.  So I sync the app and it does not update.  I checked my location services,  I restarted my phone,  I even restarted my fitbit.  It won't let me uninstall and reinstall.  Can anyone help?

I just got mine and the weather app stopped after one day.  Tried all the above steps and nothing works,  map app also not working and I have location on.  I’m about to return it

Can you please take a screenshot of the Weather app and the Map app you're using? 

 

By connecting your Fitbit account with another app, you can share data between the app and your Fitbit account. If you encounter any issues syncing your Fitbit account with another app, contact the developer of the app.

This was the best advice... when in doubt, turn it off, and then back on again. Now I know how to turn the Versa off, Thanks!

Hello there @JANICE12345! I'm sorry to hear that your weather is still not working. 

 

I recommend keeping the "all-day sync" turned on so that the Charge 3 will pull your weather as often as possible.

 

Also, if you open up the app to sync, and then go to the Weather tracking screen with the app open, it seems to send the data through at that point? (as if it needs to be pulled through).

 

Something that happened to me was that changes done on the Fitbit app on my iPhone were not being synced with the Charger 3. So, I tried General>Reset>Reset Location & Privacy on my iPhone, and then everything started working. So, it's fixed and I can start seeing the Weather on my 'Location'.

My weather app has been working correctly since I bought the Versa in October 2018. Stopped working with the last update, which is why I always hesitate to update. I’ve read the thread and tried everything mentioned by all. Unfortunately the weather app still doesn’t work. I’m on iPhone SX.

Hi, same problem here, I changed my phone to 10R I phone, tried everything suggested but still not working!

I was having the same problem with my weather app, I followed all the directions on the thread.  When I did the General>Reset>Reset Location & Privacy on my iPhone it worked!  Thank you, Maria!

This solution worked, but now I have to accept/deny location to all apps 🙂

Opening the app on the phone and going into settings works, but if I have to do this every time I want to check the weather, I can just check the weather app on my phone. It would be nice if I didn’t have to do that every time.

Mine is not working all that well. I’ve given up on the darn thing!!!! I have to keep updating my location. It’s a pain, and I’m sorry I bought this watch.
