Weather app won't update on my Versa 3

I have had this Versa 3 since 12/25/20.  The weather app has never worked.  I recently upgrade to an iPhone 12 and hoped it might work.

I updated the Versa 3 this morning with the new update and verified the watch has, in fact, been updated.  The Versa 3 is synched to my phone, is connected to Bluetooth, has access to my location, and is fully charged.

I have gone into my Fitbit mobile app and set up the weather app 5Xs now.  The settings are set to Fahrenheit and I have added two locations.  However, when I click on the app on my Versa 3, all I receive is "No location information.  Go to the Fitbit mobile app to set up weather".  It is set up....why won't it work?

Hi there, @Laura0307. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with the Weather app. 

If the weather is still not updating, check the following settings:

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

By the way, I've moved your post to the Fitbit App Gallery board for organization purposes.
