Weather app is not syncing properly. Maybe once a day. I have downloaded accuweather to my phone and it hasn’t helped.

Hi there, @mkbytheresa. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with the weather app.

If the weather is still not updating please check the following settings:

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

By the way, I've moved your post to the Fitbit App Gallery board for organization purposes.

Hope that helps.

Hello

If the weather for your current location doesn't appear, check that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS? If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.

@MarreFitbit   The Sense 2 and Versa 4 have the same Weather app, so my comments apply.  All of my settings are correct, yet the app doesn't update properly.  If I force quit my app, then reopen it, I get "updated" data that is 45 minutes old.

I'm unchecking the Best Answer selection because it's not.  There is something wrong with the Weather app or the Sense 2/Versa 4.

@LZeeW- this is sometimes affected by the version of the Fitbit App being used. Older versions won't handle it well or at all, depending. Also if the watch and phone aren't syncing well all the time it can cause problems. Does a watch and phone restart help?
