Where to find other apps to use with Fitbit

OK, I've looked and can not seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I know there is a VERY short list of apps for the Fitbit on the website but, is there a way to search for others? Can they be found in Google Play? I vaguely remember there be a much larger app repository than just what's listed on Fitbit.com or through the mobile app.

Assuming you have a tracker that supports apps, from phone dashboard, click Account icon near top right, then you tracker model, then click of the Apps tile.

 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
