Why can’t I see my versa3 and ace3 at the same time

Since the app upgrade my versa 3 keeps losing sync , I have to set it up as a brand new device… this is driving me isane. I think I’ve highlighted the issue in that it is whenever I look at my sons data with him. (Don’t get me started on the lack of visual ease of this!!) can you help please
