Fitbit app is offering / pushing 6 months free trial advertisement of Fitbit Premium subscription to new and existing users. User should not be charged until after 6 months trial ends but Fitbit app immediately charges the user. I’ve had this experience and was charged $11.04 for the monthly subscription on 3/13/25. I immediately canceled same day & filed a dispute with Apple along with evidence of screenshot from Fitbit and it was denied. I appealed online again on 3/18 and it was also denied. I manually escalated on 3/20 to review, and 4/2 found it was also denied despite my showing all the evidence. This is very upsetting to me from a consumer experience perspective and makes me not trust in purchasing anything digital from Apple in the future. Apple is not supporting their customer who are being exploited by Fitbit’s false advertising of free trial subscriptions.
