Anyone else sad? I have loved Fitbit until new info requires subscribing

Until a few weeks ago I have been a vocal  enthusiast about Fitbit products to my friends.  For years Fitbit would update and provide new information which I considered helpful and I've updated to new Fitbits a couple of times.  I don't mind replacing a watch after a couple of years for new shine and software.  I was planning to replace my Charge 2 this winter.  BUT now to get new bits of available information you have to "Subscribe" to Premium.  Sorry but I'll make this Fitbit  last a bit longer and then I will shop other Brands and their information options, which I never bothered with since I got my first Fitbit.  Subscriptions mean you never own anything and pay forever.  Very disappointing development, Fitbit.

This past week I was so upset after waking up one morning to the lost of my Fitbit Premium, a feature that has comprehensive data that is so valuable for the full Fitbit experience. A showcase of data that can be so powerful, at your fingertips, it's probably sold to research institutions. I am now searching for another company that offers the kind of Premium reports that help people attain goals and also has the feedback that's needed on a personal level. I was in the third week of my 12 week Trainer Program in Premium when it was cancelled after confirming a month ago that my Premium was set up to be auto-renewed since I was a previous user. Now I feel that I have given bad info to my family and friends who purchased Fitbits because of my experience.
