I forgot to turn on exercise today. I did the same work out that I do 3 times a week. My steps were about the same, but nothing else was, no zone minutes, no peak minutes. Nothing! Which makes me doubt my numbers when I do turn on exercise mode. Has anyone else had this happen?

Hi, @Quiltingbug , that partly depends on what your workout is. Some activities, particularly non aerobic ones like weight lifting, or ones where the HR is difficult to detect, like using a rowing machine, will not be detected as an exercise activity by the Fitbit unless you turn on the Exercise app.
Also, in exercise mode, the Fitbit samples your heart rate every one second and averages over one minute, while outside of Exercise mode it is sampled every 5 seconds and averaged over 5 minutes, so your peaks may not have been as accurately detected outside of Exercise mode.
