I’m hoping someone can help me understand and resolve a duplicate Fitbit Premium billing issue. It appears that I have been charged for two separate Premium subscriptions — one monthly and one annual — even though I only intended to have a single active subscription.
Below is the timeline of charges on my account:
2023/08/28 – Started a trial (scheduled to end 2024/02/27)
2024/02/27 – Trial ended and the $9.99/month subscription began
2026/04/28 – Received a notice from Google that my payment method was no longer valid for this monthly subscription
2024/10/15 – Started another trial (scheduled to end 2025/04/16)
2025/04/16 – Trial ended and the $79.99/year subscription began
2026/04/19 – Received a Discover alert for a recurring charge of $86.79, which appears to be the annual renewal
I did not intend to have two active subscriptions. I purchased multiple Fitbit devices over this period, each offering a Premium trial, and it seems activating a new trial may have created a second subscription instead of replacing the original one.
Confirming why two subscriptions were created
Canceling the duplicate subscription
Receiving a refund for the duplicate charges
I can provide screenshots, payment history, or any additional details if needed.
Thank you in advance for your help — I really appreciate it.
Susan
