Can't access free trial, tied to wrong Gmail account

I have had a Charge 6 for months now, and still can't sign up for my free trial. My phone, Fitbit app, and device are all tied to my personal email address. When I try to activate my free trial of Fitbit Premium, the screen defaults to my work Gmail address and there is no option to change it. I have no clue how Fitbit even has any notion of my work address, since it isn't present anywhere in my account settings. 

I've seen many other threads pointing out this issue, with no clear solution. Seems strange that Google/Fitbit wouldn't solve this considering they are potentially losing paying members as a result!
