Can't cancel Fitbit Premium

 Can’t cancel Fitbit premium, already tried instructions given.

Found it with help from support.

I have a legacy Gmail account that I never use. I used my new email account for Fitbit sign up. But somehow, when I signed on to the trial, I managed to sign on under my old Gmail address (and Google account), and it still showed up with my Fitbit app, and account.

I don't know how I managed to put the subscription under the old account, but doesn't matter. Once I switched over on Google, I found the subscription, and was able to cancel the trial.

So folks, check to see if you used the correct Google Play Store account.

I dont have a manage subscription button. Does that mean I dont have a subscription? I was signed up for the 90 day free trial during Covid but it isn't working for me so I definitely don't want to pay for it.

@Rach28 Welcome back to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned. 

If you're not seeing the "Manage Subscription" link on your app, this means that your app isn't updated to the latest version please double check that you have installed the latest version which is 3.25 for Android and iOS. 

Additionally, please confirm that you followed this procedure to purchase your subscription. Once your app is updated, check that your membership shows up, if it doesn't then restore your purchases by doing the following: 

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap Restore Purchases > OK.

When I purchased my premium, I clicked on the "premium" from the Fitbit app.  I have logged into EVERY google account that is on my phone and all of them show no subscriptions available.  When I try logging into the Fitbit coach to try to cancel, it shows an orange bar over my premium (which all the pages claim that means it's already cancelled).  But I was just billed today for another month.

 

So if I have no subscriptions available in the play store on EVERY account I have on the phone and I can't cancel via the online Coach subscription, how the heck do I cancel my premium?

Same for me! I got the free trial premium subscription when I bought my versa through the website so apple doesn’t have a record of it. The ‘Manage Subscription’ takes me to my apple ID subscriptions. That’s why it doesn’t show. 
  

Please cancel my fitbit premium. I don't want to be charged for this!!

Is there a number to call to cancel subscription. I didn’t think it would be this hard to cancel 😩

I keep being charged for it and I can't get rid of premium.

@SilviaFitbit  don't you think it is time to fix this problem with Premium? Fitbit is tricking customers into the trial, making it very hard to cancel, and then refusing refunds even when customers don't want the product. Don't you think it is a problem when the majority of the people on the community boards don't ask any questions about the product, but are only trying to cancel their membership?

 

Way to loose your audience and community!

The cancellation process might be different for each one, depending on the place where you purchased your subscription, it can be through Play Store, Apple store or Fitbit.com. If it was purchased through Fitbit.com, our Support team will be the one that will help you with the cancellation.

Take into consideration that Fitbit Premium is for new users only. If you were charged and your subscription isn't displaying, follow these tips to restore your purchase: 

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab 
     
     
     
     your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap Restore Purchases > OK.

I am having same problem.Could not find out how to cancel the free trial premium before it expired and charges started!. Finally found it 7/8/21.

Contacted fitbit thru chat, several times and was told I would be emailed and they would help me cancel it but that was over a week ago, and it has already charged my cc. I got the Fitbit Charge 4 thru HumanaPharmacy.com. I have been online looking for help, see alot of people with same issue, but no solutions. I just found this website, can you help me? Thank you.

Your best bet is to go through customer support (calling them seems to be the most reliable way). If that doesn't work contact your credit card company and contest the transaction (do not wait too long with this, most credit card companies have a time limit on this).

Just wanted to jumped in and share that the subscription should be cancelled on the store it was purchased from. For example, if it was purchased from your phone's default store, visit the Google Play or Apple subscriptions and Fitbit should display there. 

If it doesn't make sure you're logged into the same account that was used to subscribe. Additional information can be found here

Hello, I am also getting an error message after following the instructions. I was given premium after purchasing my Fitbit so I didn’t “purchase” premium itself. Can you help me cancel premium before I am charged on 11/20/2021? Thank you!
