I have worked my way through the recall process and in the Discount Store I have the option to add a 12 month free Premium subscription:
My subscription was due to expire late May so I figured there's no harm cancelling and grabbing the offer even if the net effect is only 10 months free.
So, as per the Asterix I cancelled my Subscription, though it indicates it remains activeuntil late May.
However, when I then try to add the option via the store it does an account check and returns
Given we can only check-out once, and only have a limited time window to access this store, how to I add this to the cart to make use of the offer?

Thank you @YojanaFitbit
I have chatted with the support team after your recommendation, they have indicated that if I want to take up the Free Premium Subscription then I will have to wait to make an order via the Discount Store until after my current subscription has expired. Otherwise, I can order a new Fitbit via the store now with the discount and forgo the free subscription (and take a chance that I might get a second chance at the store, something the email indicates is not currently possible).
I'll have to consider my options as this would mean waiting 2 months (on top of the near month already) without a replacement for my Ionic to stay with Fitbit. Whereas I can bite the bullet and depart Fitbit after nearly 10 years as a loyal customer now and skip all this entirely.
It's a shame but almost everyone I got into Fitbit has moved on to other platforms and one sister has lent me another brand to try which she departed Fitbit for while I waited. It's difficult because the other brand has been pretty good as well.
I'll have to ponder about it because the situation doesn't brim me with confidence that sticking around is the right call.
