I tried out Premium, not knowing that it would take away my raw sleep data. I mistakenly hoped it would give me more info.
I don't want sleep interpretation. I want my free old sleep data. The raw bits. Sleep score is worse than useless to me -- it's infuriating, because I want the data I used to be able to see.
So I cancelled Premium.
I force-closed the Android app, cleared the cache, cleared the main app data, reopened the app, logged in from scratch like I had just installed the app for the very first time,
And the stupid thing still says I have a premium account.
I don't want a premium account.
I checked the Google Play Store -- it says my subscription is cancelled.
How do I convince the app that I DON'T have a premium account?

Hello @m103 when premium is cancelled. The user is still paid up to the end of their 30 day period.
So yes until your subscription expires you have a premium account.
If you want to opt out right away you will need to contact Fitbit.
I've also moved your premium post out of the hardware support.

Dear FitBit, I think any customers that want to go back to the free app and cancel the Premium subscription should do so easily from the app! Leaving the premium version in place for months even after cancelled does not get back the beautiful sleep data and graphics!
First rule of applications development for any device, stay consistent across all versions else get a lot of these types of text and emails and a very busy customer support desk!
FIX THIS FITBIT!
