I canceled the free premium subscription, but it hasn't changed o the app. I have checked the forum and tried the solutions that were posted, but nothing worked. Di I really have to wait until August for it to clear?

Yes, premium will continue until the end of your free trial.
I've also moved the thread to the premium board
