Charged at the start of the trial

Hi,

In-app it mentioned a 90-day free trial for Premium and although I thought this was weird after already having a free trial, I signed up. Even on the signup page it said “Start your 90 day free trial”, but I was charged the monthly fee straight away. Is there any way to be refunded?

@Obergine A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate the detailed information shared. The free trial for Fitbit Premium is for customers who haven’t previously activated a free trial for Fitbit Premium. Thanks for understanding.

Fitbit subscriptions are non-refundable. However you could contact Apple or Google depending on the store that you used to purchase it from, sometimes they are able to provide refunds.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

However it doesn’t really help with my problem. Even though it was clearly a fault of Fitbit to say this was a free trial, I still can’t get a refund? I understand that free trials are only for customers that haven’t had one before, but this wasn’t made clear when I signed up. As I mentioned before, it still claimed that it was totally free.
