I bought a new Charge 5 because my old one stopped working. It came with a 6 month Premium trial that said it was for new & returning Premium users, but when I went to activate it I was immediately charged the £7.99 monthly fee.
How can I get the £7.99 refunded and activate the free 6 months?

Thanks for the details provided in your post. Based on what you mentioned, it seems that you are not a new Premium user. With this in mind, I'd like to know if you made sure to cancel your old Premium subscription. Please keep in mind that Fitbit Premium renews automatically at the end of the period. That means that even if it is a free trial, it will automatically renew at the end of the six months.
If you do so, what I can suggest is to get in touch with our support team to get a resolution to your situation.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I cancelled the subscription that I'd been paying for since the 6 month trial on my original Fitbit ended, and it expired on August 28.
I'll contact support as you suggest.
