I bought a Fitbit Sense 2 about a month or two ago and love it. Unlike my Sense 1, it wasn't obvious if I get a 6 month subscription to Fitbit Premium or not? If so, how do I get it and make sure I'm not paying for it?

Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm glad your Sense 2 has been a great companion. With your question, the purchase of this device comes with a free 6-months Premium membership. To activate it, just tap on the Premium tab at the bottom of the Fitbit app, then select a trial type > Subscribe. You can find more details here.
Just keep in mind that if you have a current membership, you'll need to wait until its expiration date in order to get the offer to try Premium.
