Feedback about Premium and sleep stages on the app

I subscribed to Premium for the additional sleep data.  But I find it now takes too many clicks to get info. Without Premium, I could start on the "today" screen, click on the top row which for me is sleep with the purple moon and the Z, then click on one of the rows for a particular day and it took me to the graph of sleep stages.  Now with Premium I have to click on the row for a particular day and then I am confronted with 3 boxes (Time Asleep, Deep and REM, and Restoration) and I have to click on of those boxes.  I click Deep and REM to see the familiar graph but it is all smaller than before (so it is all harder to read), and when I click the arrows to go full screen I see the graph bigger but I can't see the info at the bottom that shows all the amount of time in each sleep stage and amount of time awake.  So - bottom line - with Premium to get to the sleep stages graph I have to click more and the result I get is harder to read.  Does anyone else notice this?  Is there any way to see the sleep stages page like I used to without Premium?

I don’t want to wait for a feature request to maybe improve things for me. I have canceled Premium bc of this design, but my subscription  will be active until the year I paid for runs out. I don’t care about a refund, I just want the Premium features to go away. Is there any way to do this other than just creating a whole new profile and then it won’t have Premium features?  Maybe deleting and reinstalling the app and not restoring features?  I hate this new view THAT much.

@sbrun Thanks for getting back. I appreciate your feedback and comments.

Currently it's not possible to remove the Premium features until the subscription ends. However, the sleep data that you're seeing in your Dashboard was implemented to Fitbit and this doesn't come with the Premium subscription.

The extra features that you got with Premium are the following:

- Guided Programs

- Personalized insights based on your activity, habits and progress throughout programs

- Workouts

- Mindfulness

Hi Silvia.  Thank you for your reply.  Are you saying that the "sleeping heart rate data" and the "restlessness data"  are now part of the regular Fitbit app and do not require a Premium subscription?  As I recall, I was looking at my data in the app and clicked on "sleeping heart rate" and it said that was only available to Premium subscribers, and so I clicked the link there to subscribe.

@sbrun Thanks for getting back.

Yes, the sleep data will show restlessness data and sleeping heart rate data.

Weekly sleep average is still available to everyone. To view it, tap the sleep tile in the app, swipe left on the graphs at the top until you see “Hours in Sleep Stages,” then tap the graph to see your weekly averages.

All Fitbit users will continue to have access to their time asleep, sleep schedule, sleep quality details, as well as weekly hours slept compared to their sleep schedule. Additionally, all Fitbit users with a device capable of heart-rate tracking will also see their sleep stages and sleep score.

Premium members will see all of the above, and also receive a deeper analysis of how their sleep score is calculated. This deeper analysis includes visibility into sub-scores for time asleep, deep and REM sleep stages, and restoration details, which provides analysis of your sleeping heart rate and time spent tossing and turning.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I have same issue and prefer the graphs in the non-premium view.

I totally agree with this. It’s very frustrating!

I think I realize the same that other users on this feed are commenting, I got the premium version and then my sleep graph just show: time awake; restless and sleep. I can't find more data available, I made a download of the data of that night to the computer and still the same, and I can't cancel the subscription so I'm stuck with just this data, doesn't make any sense to have a premium and just receive less data then with the free one.

So, my solution was kind of awkward... I created a new account with another email, a free account, and I will use did one until the premium one finishes the subscription time for the premium version on that time I will change to the first account.

Just another thing even if the premium account gives deep analyses of sleep it will only give it after 14 ou 15 nights of data uploaded to the app, and when I'm struggling to get a good night sleep  I need to now on a day to the day bases what have I been doing good and bad, so that I can improve my sleeping habits. So the way how premium version data deliver information is of now good use to me.
