Fitbit Bingo "Starts in less than 1 hr" -- but never starts

A friend has invited me and a group of friends to 2 separate Bingo Challenges over the past few days.

The challenge will get to "Starts in less then 1 hr" status... but never starts.

Currently running Fitbit 3.32.1 on an iPhone 6S with iOS version 13.7.

 

Force quitting the app doesn't appear to make any difference. Get Fit Bingo still says "Starts in less than 1hr" even though the Time Left is counting down. No syncing of steps, activity minutes, or distance. 😞

Howdy, Galaxy S9+, Android 10, Fitbit 3.32-hosted the challenge that started yesterday but it still says will start in an hour. Luckily the others participating are able to play, but I'm stuck.

All my friends have to same problem since yesterday.  We did Bingos for months now.  And this problem just started

Hi @SilviaFitbit, I have tried force quitting the app, uninstalling it and reinstalling the app, updating the app, removing and reinstalling my fitbit, logging out and relogging into my account, and restarting my phone during many of those steps.  I still keep getting this error, and it has been one of the only reasons I have Premium.  Additional thoughts?

This solution didn’t work for me. Any other tips? It still says I have 0 for everything and “starts in less than one hour” even though it started at 7 am this morning.

I checked and I do have the latest version of the app. The bingo worked for us previously but now it just keeps saying it will start in under an hour but never starts. We quit the challenge and she resent it and we joined again but it's still not working.

Mine has been stuck with the Distance custom challenge, and the customer support on Twitter has been no help. I had no issues with the Custom Activity challenge the week before so this was weird. I tried starting a new Distance challenge, and same issue; but then I tried the Steps custom challenge and that one worked...

I am on a free trial and joined specifically to do the extra challenges available with premium.  So far, I have tried a three bingos and one active minutes custom challenge, all of which never started and stayed at "Starts in less than 1 hr" while counting down within the challenge and not recording any activity.  I was able to get a Steps custom challenge to work.  Needless to say, I won't be continuing premium after the trial period if these issues aren't fixed soon.

I've been trialling Premium on order to try the bingo and the fitness videos, and have now had this happen 3 times with the Bingo - same deal as everyone else has described here, and so disappointing for everyone wanting to participate! (And on a side note, though that's for another forum, the videos won't play on my phone or register as having been watched - so any programs I want to take part in won't log, either!!!). Have to say, it's really made it look like Premium won't be worth the money until that's all been fixed.

Any progress on a patch for the bingo issue?

Also having this same exact problem. Talked to customer support and they just had me reinstall, update app, blah blah blah boilerplate solutions that didn't help. We've been having this problem for several weeks. About to cancel my premium membership if the features I pay for don't work.

Having the same issues here. Really regretting my premium subscription. Says the challenge hasn’t started - it will in an hour. But when you open the challenge it’s been active for over 12.

@SilviaFitbit Started 3 days ago in Australia..  It just came up with one message on one of the Bingos. Time has finished and it never started.. 

 

Here are my details.

PLEASE assist me

I am currently on a 6months trial and I am thinking about continuing with the premium.

 

HOWEVER I believed you could have as many challenges running as you wished??

 

The big one the latest issue is that Bingo isn't starting just has starting within the hour??? I have so many joining these challenges previously

 

Surely with Premium the FITBIT business should be advising if there are issues happening???

I've had premium since March and never had a problem with bingo till the last 2 weeks !.. same less then 1 he message. I have a droid razor 4 and just got the Versa 2. I've done everything mentioned to try to fix. This is Fitbits issue, not the users!!.. apparently everyis having the same problem..this should be a huge hint that it's not the users!!
