Hello to the Fitbit community. We had a subscription to Fitbit Premium and did not remember it would automatically renew this month until the transaction was pending on our bank account. We no longer have our Fitbit devices and so I immediately went to our account at Fitbit.com to cancel the subscription. Unfortunately, it was too late and we are out $80 for a service we cannot use. When I called Fitbit, the representative explained to me that they will not refund a subscription. We did not receive a reminder email/notification that the subscription was going to renew for another year. Please learn from our mistake, and take your account off auto renewal or make sure you remember to cancel if you no longer are using your Fitbit. It would have been wonderful to receive a reminder email, and it should not be difficult for a technology company to figure out how to automate an email reminder. Customer service is what makes a company stand out these days, and I will not go back to a Fitbit based on this experience.
