Fitbit Premium videos cropped on TV

I've been trying to get Fitbit Premium videos to show up in high quality on my TV with limited/no success.

Before playing the videos, the HD toggle is enabled in settings.

iPhone Cast

- Start Fitbit Premium workout

- Click cast icon (via Apple TV)

- Video plays but is quite jumpy and not HD at all.

Android Cast

- Start Fitbit Premium workout

- Click cast icon (via Chromecast)

- Video is even more jumpy.

iPhone HDMI

- Plug HDMI cable from iPhone to TV.

- Start Fitbit Premium workout

- Video is cropped, step counts are off the screen

- Unplug HDMI and reconnect, now video is a square on the screen

- Other apps like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime, show up in great quality, no cropping, so this isn't an issue with the iPhone, cable or TV. This is an issue with the Fitbit iOS app sending the wrong video dimension to the TV.
