Given the current climate and people’s need to be isolated in their homes due to the Coronavirus does Fitbit plan on issuing Fitbit Premium for free to assist all people with a Fitbit to continue exercising in their homes?? What a great community/global act this would be 😊

@rafiki40 Welcome to the Community. I appreciate the time you took to share your idea about giving free Premium to users.

This would be a good motivation to people who is at home and want to exercise. The best place to make your voice heard is our Feature Suggestion board, those ideas are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

You got your wish! Fitbit premium is now available as a free trial for 90 days for new users and 40 pieces of premium content are now available for free.

If you are already a premium user, sucks to be you! You'll still be paying the same amount each month, or even more if you live in a region where your dollar has plummeted due to this crisis.

Fairly obvious what fitbit thinks about it's paying customers right now.

@rafiki40 , the CEO just announced a three month trial period for people who have not done the premium trial yet.

I feel like you that Fitbit could contribute to all by making the premium services available to all during these trying times with no strings attached. They are offering 40 new pieces of Premium content free in the Fitbit app, however this is no where close to the 150+ workouts in addition to the personalised health insights, health guidance, advanced sleep tools, and customised programs you get on Premium. You can only get the 3 months premium now if you have not done the trial before and if you add your payment details.

I am frustrated and somewhat upset now that I have already taken the premium trial. I would have liked to have a 90 day trial! I also find the premium service is very expensive (more expensive than Netflix!) so I can't justify the cost. Premium also gives access to additional views of your data (sleeping heart rate and restlessness) which I find should not be charged for. I can understand being charged for new content, but this is my data... so in the end my Fitbit experience is being tarnished by these half-hearted services and offers.
