Google Play store not available to use free 90 day premium trial

I have downloaded the app and every time I click on the free 90 day premium trial it says google store is not available. I know it is available because I download the app from it. Is there another way I can get my free 90 day trial?

Every time I click on premium in the app, I get a message that says, "Google play store is not available." Google play store is working fine, I even downloaded an app to test it and there was no issue. I've tried restarting my phone, force quitting both apps, and clearing the cache of the play store, but nothing works. Does anyone else have this issue to at least have an idea of what to do? I'm at a loss. Thanks.

@AllieOop20 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

It's pretty weird that you're receiving this error message, I would like you to confirm you're doing this procedure to subscribe to Premium:

  1. If Fitbit Premium is available in your region, you'll see a Premium tab in the Fitbit app. Tap the Premium tab.
  2. Read the overview, and tap the button to get started.
  3. Choose a 1-year or monthly subscription to start after your free trial, and follow the instructions to purchase.

If you keep experiencing difficulties after this, please attach a screenshot to your next reply.

The same happens to me. I tap the Premium tab at the bottom and it immediately says that the Google Store is not available. Not sure. I also clicked on the free  90 day premium service tab. I received the same message.

Hi, faced a similar error on iOS. Apparently it is a settings issue on the phone. I needed to tweak content privacy and in-app settings to allow for in-app purchases. Once I did that, the Fitbit Premium got installed.

Same thing happened to me. The only thing I clicked was the premium button on my 2018 Android 8.1 phone, and it immediately popped up with the error message: https://photos.app.goo.gl/L5HLuNoGWdfEorw96

I would like to know the same thing. I am unable to get the 90 trial as it keeps giving me the message that Google Pay is unavailable and I know its not because I use it for other things without a problem. I tried fitbit.com and it isn't available there, of course.

I think the problem is if you dont have a credit card attached to your google play it wont allow you to do it.

I can not get past the premium button, every time i select I get playstore is not available, but it is working just fine for other apps. Why can the free trial not be started from the website version of Fitbit?
