Google Play store not available to use free 90 day premium trial

I have downloaded the app and every time I click on the free 90 day premium trial it says google store is not available. I know it is available because I download the app from it. Is there another way I can get my free 90 day trial?

This is false. My colleague has a Huawei P20 and she is able to register for premium through the app.

It is NOT false.
Some people can get Premium while others can not.
It might depend on the phone or the region they live.I have a Note9 and live in the Caribbean and Premium does not work.
I just keep getting Google Play Store is not available.

Best Answer

No this is NOT false for my P20, I have tried many many many times and the problem persists with no support from fitbit.

I have been struggling with the same issue for several months! I even purchased a new Fitbit Inspire 2, but it did not help. I have read this whole thread and googled and what not. But today I got my Premium up and running! I closed all running sites and apps, closed wifi, bluetooth, gps and mobile data, went to my phone settings. Deleted cache for Google Play, deleted cache for Fitbit app. Turned on wifi, went to Fitbit app, and was able to click the premium without it saying Google play not working! ✌️ Now I have Premium!

I'm having the same issue as everyone else here. I've tried all the workarounds on here. I've called Fitbit multiple times. I've emailed with their tech support for weeks. I've even contacted Google, who confirmed this is a problem with the Fitbit app. When is Fitbit going to take solving this issue seriously!?
