How can I disable the biking auto-detection on my Fitbit?

I live in Bangladesh, where we commonly use a vehicle called a rickshaw. It's a manually-driven, three-wheeled bike used for transporting people. I'm not the one driving; I'm just a passenger. However, whenever I ride in a rickshaw, my Fitbit mistakenly auto-detects this as biking activity. This results in my Fitbit inaccurately recording my activity as if I'm cycling every day. Is there a way to turn off or disable this auto-detection feature for biking on my Fitbit?

Hello @SAIFULLOH and welcome to the Community.  You don't say what model Fitbit you use.  If your Fitbit is tracking this with the basic auto-recognition feature (SmartTrack), please do the following:

  • Tap on your profile picture/gear icon in the upper right of your app
  • Tap on Activity & Wellness
  • Tap on Exercise
  • Tap on Outdoor Bike and toggle it off

If you have a Sense 2 or Versa 4, they have an additional feature called Bike Detect that will turn on the Exercise app if biking is detected.  This is part of the Exercise app and is controlled from the Fitbit.  If this is your issue, please do the following:

  • Short press the button and open the Exercise app
  • Choose Bike
  • Swipe up on the tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen
  • Swipe up until you find Bike Detect and toggle it off
