Hello @klaudez, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for posting your question. In order to cancel your subscription, you will need to manage it where you bought it:

  1. Log in to your account at https://coach.fitbit.com/.
  2. Click your name in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Subscriptions and Payments.

If the box shows your payment details, you purchased your subscription directly from the website. If you see an Apple iTunes, Google Play, Microsoft Store, or Amazon logo, click the logo to go to the subscription area for that account. For more information about managing your subscription, check below:

  • Fitbit Coach WebsiteAfter following the instructions above, click the Edit option to change your subscription plan or payment details. If the top of the section is orange, the subscription is already canceled, but your access to Premium offerings will continue through the end of the payment period.
  • iOS DevicesIf you upgraded to Premium while using the Fitbit Coach app on your Apple device, you purchased the subscription from iTunes. Refer to Apple's instructions to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Android DevicesIf you upgraded to Premium while using the Fitbit Coach app on your Android device, you purchased the subscription from Google Play. Refer to Google's instructions to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Windows 10/XboxIf you upgraded to Premium while using the Fitbit Coach app on your Windows 10 device or Xbox, you purchased the subscription from the Microsoft Store. Visit Microsoft’s subscription page to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • AmazonTo manage or cancel a Premium subscription you bought from Amazon, follow Amazon's instructions.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I am trying to follow these steps (through Apple ID settings) however, your app subscription doesn’t offer a “cancel” option.  The only options are to toggle between the monthly and the yearly subscription.  This needs to be added for us users to cancel ourselves.    Please give us another option to cancel since the instructions you have provided do not work.   Please also honour refunds for those of us who are trying to cancel before the renewal.   See below.  The email I received clearly says that if I do nothing that it will auto renew, yet this reads as if I need to click one of the options in order to renew.  This needs to be updated as well when you add the option to cancel.

Thought I would come back to this post to provide feedback. Apparently I subscribed via iTunes so I called Apple and they said that the reason I cant see a CANCEL button is because I must have already cancelled it sometime in the past and that the renewal email must be just an automatic email that gets sent and that I wont get charged. So I kept and eye on my credit card and I didnt get charged. So just delete the email. It must just get sent regardless if you have a subscription or not.....

Thank you.  This helps, although I’ll be honest, I can’t recall when I cancelled it already.  I am hoping this is the case though.  I appreciate the clarification.    I can’t see an email confirming the cancellation either (which would be nice to help ease this type of confusion).

Thanks again.

Yeah I know what you mean. I must have cancelled last year.... but when I received that email the other week, it scared me as I couldnt find anywhere to cancel! Dont know why it has to be so complicated. Perhaps check where you subscribed from and give them a call/online chat. But yes, they should send out a cancellation email to confirm...

When I try to cancel my premium subscription through the Coach app I find myself in an endless loop. That is, when I click on the Manage Premium Subscription button in the gear menu, it opens Google apps and I see that the Open or Uninstall buttons for Fitbit Coach app. I am using a Samsung S8 phone with the Android version 9.

I managed to cancel my subscription by browsing to https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, but I guess this will only work if you subscribed through the Play Store rather than through the fitbit coach site.

My subscription isn't even showing up in the Google Play store, so I have no way to cancel. If I uninstall, it warns me that I have an active subscription, but it does not show in my subscriptions!

Did you evert figure it out?

Can’t remember as it was a while ago but I think I cancelled it via the Apple Store. You have to cancel it via the platform you subscribed from.

Hi! I need some help with this too. I didn't use the coach app, I used the regular fitbit app on my iphone to try regular fitbit premium and am looking to cancel it as I do not want to pay for it. On the coach app I am not seeing anything related to premium on it.

Like the Coach site has nothing, my fitbit app has nothing and apple has nothing (that I can see and hear from) and the whole process is really starting to frustrate me. I know for sure I've got like a few days left on the trial I would just like to cancel it before it charges me $80 for the year.

Thanks!

This worked for me! I subscribed to premium while on the Fitbit app. I have a Google pixel.

Hi

I had the same problem too! I had been given a free trail voucher code from Currys. I ended up contacting Fitbit through webchat and they gave me this link to cancel through Google play with full instructions. It literally took less than a minute to cancel.

Hope it helps!
