How do you cancel the premium membership?

Can someone please help me to cancel my premium subscription? I fell for the “free two weeks” offer and now am finding it impossible to cancel before I’m automatically charged. Disgraceful con!

Hi @Davidsonan, welcome to the community.

 

Below are the steps that Fitbit give about cancelling your subscription. Did you sign up through the fitbit app? If so you will be able to cancel your membership/renewal through your platforms app store. On Android you would open the play store - tap on the 3 lines in the top left corner (to open the side menu) - tap subscriptions and then cancel the renewal from there. As I'm an Android user myself I'm not sure what the exact procedure for iOS would be, but assume it would be similar. 

 

HOW DO I MANAGE OR CANCEL MY FITBIT PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION?

If you purchased your Fitbit Premium subscription through the Fitbit app, cancel your subscription through your phone’s app store. For instructions, visit the Apple support page or Google Play support page.

If you purchased a 1-year Fitbit Premium subscription through fitbit.com, your subscription doesn’t automatically renew at the end of the year.

I subscribed about 3 months ago to Fitbit Premium for a 1 year subscription but I it isn’t as impressive as I thought it would be. If I cancel my subscription do I get some of my money back?

I don't think so. I found this clause in the terms and conditions:

 

"No Refunds on Subscriptions. When you cancel a Subscription, you cancel only future charges for your Subscription. You will not receive a refund for the current Subscription Term you paid for, but you will continue to have full access to that Subscription until the end of that current Subscription Term."
