How to activate 1 year free premium?

Hey, 

I bought  a inspire 2 and can not see the option for one year free premium service but $16 to activate again. Yes i had a fit bit before and had a trial and i paid for one year membership. So can see why i have to forfeit this offer because i already paid for the service.

I have read all the articles here about activating 1-year premium and tried all that was recommended here in the community. I have called support and they are escalating this to someone - that was last week. I have not deleted my fit  bit app on my phone because it will delete data from my last fitbt which has died.

Help 🙂

Hi @Treebuff and @deedee326 if you didn't sign up at the time of purchase, you should receive an invite in 2-3 days. 

 

I've also moved your premium question into the premium board.

It should come up as an offer if you choose to pay for a monthly payment for Premium. One needs to go through the proceedings of accepting the 0 payment as a new user. For users already on Premium I've seen mentioned that you need to cancel your current subscription first and wait for a few days before activating a new free trial.

Hey,

I dont have the option for $0 payment but $16.49 and neither do i have a subscription. When i have attempted to pay to see if it turns from 16.49 to 0 then the following screen is $16.49 and i will be charged.

@Treebuff Welcome to the Fitbit Community. To start your Premium trial, do the following: 

 

  1.  Tap the Premium tab.
  2. Read the overview, and tap the button to get started.
  3. Choose a 1-year or monthly subscription to start after your trial, and follow the instructions to subscribe.
