How to pause or refund my Fitbit Premium membership

Hi~

My Pixel Watch was stolen at a gym in mid-May. I realized from old emails that I was auto-charged $79.99 in April for annual membership. Is there a way to manually or automatically pause or get a refund for my membership when my device is no longer connecting to my paid subscription account for whatever reason. Seeing that there is already a mechanism to automatically charge me, are there any mechanisms to automatically cancel or refund the subscription when the owner clearly no longer is in possession of the device?

Hi, @TomUser , I am so sorry to hear that your Pixel Watch was stolen! 

Unfortunately my understanding is that there is a no refund policy for Fitbit Premium once your subscription has started.  I would recommend making sure that your subscription is cancelled so that you aren’t charged again next April.  Like many companies, Fitbit automatically renews subscriptions annually until they are cancelled.

I am sorry not to have better news for you.  Nevertheless, welcome to the Community Forums!

That's unfortunate. I cancelled my membership which will go into effect in April or in about half a year. I didn't want Fitbit to lose a paying member, but I would have wanted my already paid membership to be paused since not doing so would mean I am losing the months for services I know I can't use and Fitbit would know this because my device will be no longer connecting to my account. I guess that's the risk of paying for an annual subscription!
