I can not figure out how to use my renew active through United Health Care code to join Fitbit Premium. Can you help? I can only find the free trial that want credit card info.

It isn't working at that link. I have a code from United Healthcare, and that doesn't work. Then I tried my United Healthcare membership number, and that didn't work either. Both said it was an invalid code.

I figured it out. You have to sign up on the United Healthcare website first, then it is already available in my Fitbit app.

Please tell me how you signed up in the United Healthcare website? I tried my UHC membership number at the link that Silvia Fitbit listed and was said it's an invalid code. What did you do next? Thank you in advance for your help!

This should be a lot easier, but it is not. I spent 3 days including 3 extremely long conversations with customer service at UHC & Fitbit trying to get this figured out. Alas, I was avle to get it figured out with the help of Sheila and Samantha at UHC.
I am going to post this link so it saves someone else a lot of time. This is the link I used to join the Renew Active Community for Fitbit. Hopefully it helps!!!

You may need to remove the numbers on the end of the link.

@SimoneBlaze Hi there. Thank you for sharing instructions and the link that helped you subscribing to that program.
If you encounter any issues with the UHC, it's better to contact our Support team or UHC Support for additional help on the correct instructions.
Have a great weekend.

This was all very helpful, but to finish up, the app doesn’t show “closed groups” as the UHC website says. Click Premium and it will tell you you are already a member through Renew Active. I didn’t see a specific group for RA or older people, which I think could be helpful as our needs and abilities may be different from others.

@SuziG123 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the feedback provided.
In this case, it's recommended to call the customer service number on the back of your health insurance card. Thanks for your understanding.
Have a nice day.

HI! I just spent three hours and was transferred to over 10 customer service reps before I figured it out on my own. OK! Using your laptop, Sign on to AARP webpage go to the Renew Active section then to the Health and Wellness section and then to the Fitbit Community. Answer all the questions...you will need to know your Renew Active number...and off you will be sent to the Fitbit APP. You will need to download the app on to your laptop... them all will be sent to your Fitbit APP on your phone.
I’m finished and off to run errands! Hope this helps you out.

Thank you! I was having a heck of a time signing up.

I got signed up -- things to know:
* the renew active forums are apparently only available thru the app
* the name they use is the one in my private profile (it's not the same one as here)
* just checking now, it says my fitbit premium is only good thru Dec 2021 -- which kinda ticks me off... I was already getting 6 mos free with my fitbit device purchase... I'm going to assume that, in fact, it will continue in 2022, and this is just a contractual thing, they have to put an end... I guess?
* it's curious that when I used the Welcome UnitedHealthcare Members! link SylviaFitBit provided, it shows how to set up various devices as well as to download the app...
FWIW -- I contacted UHC support and was able to get the special access code -- different from your membership number (yeah, using that prolly wasn't a smart thing to do... LOL.)

@JAKCA Hi there.
Thanks for sharing your experience while signing up for this through the Renew Active program. I'd like to advise that the date that you're seeing that subscription shows it will expire it's the actual date, if it's not cancelled before that it will auto renew.
If you were supposed to receive more months when signing up through this program, get in touch with United HealthCare.
Hope this helps.
