Long time UK fit users, 10 years in a few months.
Recently lost the Charge 2 I've been using for a few years, so decided to upgrade to a Charge 5 which arrived today and I believed comes with a 6 months premium subscription. I subscribed to the 3 month trial via the website a few days ago to check out premium.
Setup the new Charge 5 but lost as to redeem the 6 months premium trial (seems is not as described on Amazon). Contact support but answer was unclear as told to wait until the 3 month subscription ends.
Can someone explain to me what my options are? Have I lost the 6 months sub by signing up for the 3 month sub (totally not explained when I signed up for it), will things sort themselves out in 3 months time (seems unlikely reading other threads here) or should I forget the whole thing and return the Charge 5 to Amazon?

Sounds like returning it and forgetting about the fitbit ecosystem is the best approach here.
