I need a service focused on workouts. Help me understand where to go from here

I used to use the app on my phone called FitStar, which would guide me through daily cardio exercises and would increase the difficulty over time, letting me specify how hard a routine was afterwards so it would cater the next workout based on my individual progress. It was perfect. It was genius. FitBit bought FitStar, and for a while it was still good. Then it all went away and I'm told to subscribe to FitBit Premium, which promises like a thousand things when all I want is a good, solid cardio routine. I'm sad that something I once gained so much from (I lost 40 pounds using FitStar!) has been morphed into a confusing bloated lifestyle service.

It doesn't even seem like exercise is a priority here anymore. In the list of what FitBit Premium provides, something vaguely described as "200+ workouts" is buried at the bottom of the list, below stuff like "advanced skin temperature" and "daily readiness score".

Does anyone use FitBit Premium for cardio exercise? Is it better than other apps out there focused on actual workouts? Does it still adjust your workouts based on your individual progress? Is it worth wading through all the other fluff this service is going to throw at you?

Thanks for any help answering these questions.

@moiremusic Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with FitStar.

Congrats on losing those 40 pounds. Your feedback and comments towards the Fitbit Premium is appreciated, be sure that this helps us to continue improving our services offered.

Note that Fitbit Premium is your personalized resource in the Fitbit app that helps us stay active, sleep well, manage stress and more. The features are designed to help you on your fitness journey.

Take into consideration that the workouts offered won't adjust based on the last one performed. However, it has a variety of them that will help you exercise everyday as it has 15 minute workouts or longer if you have more time.

Hope someone else can jump in and share their experience. Have a good week.
