I currently have a free 3 month trial of premium on my old device that ends at the end of this month. That Fitbit has a broken face and only stays charged for 24 hours, so I bought a new Versa 2. I thought I was getting a 12 month free trial in premium which is what is advertised. Since I already had a 3-month subscription, I can't access the 12 months one because I am not a new user. I understand that but don't find it fair. It seems like I should be able to get at least 9 more months added to my account. Why not reward Fitbit users who have been using Fitbits for many years instead of just new users?

@BarbaraCer A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for getting in touch about this.
I appreciate the detailed information shared, I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry.
Since you’re a current Fitbit Premium subscriber, you can start the free trial after you cancel your premium subscription. You’ll see your free trial offer for Fitbit Premium in the Fitbit app within 3 days after your current subscription period ends.
Check this article for instructions on how to cancel your current subscription.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I am confused. I went to the article you recommended above and I think I quit the subscription that I have. It says expires Oct 31. So will I then be able to receive the free trial 3 days after Oct 31? I'm assuming that's what it means. So on Nov 4, I should have the offer?
