Is it possible to rename LesMills workouts?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve been using the Fitbit premium app for over a month and I feel it’s not quite delivering to its face value.
It is very frustrating not being able to rename workouts, especially when Les Mills is offered as a premium feature but does not have a match in the exercise list. It would be great being able to manually rename the generic “workouts” so you remember which specialty you took whether it’s Pump or Bodyattack. Ideally you should be able to create your own exercise name list to quickly rename exercises. Also being able to make notes on the exercise to record locations, physical performance ect… in addition in regards to the monthly exercise view it would be good to have an actual calendar with dates and being able to hover on the checked box to be able to see what exercise was done on the day instead of scrolling down the list to find it. I hope these are changes that can be implemented soon as other fitness apps offer it.

Anyone should be able to rename the generic "Workout" and any auto detected exercises.

@Rich_Laue Thanks for your input.

@Kickgoals Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I see where your frustration is coming from. Your feedback and comments are appreciated, they help us to continue improving our services offered.

As described by our Community Council member, you should be able rename the workout activity, once it's logged, do the following to rename it:

- Select the activity

- Tap on Categorize Exercise

- Rename the exercise and tap on Save

In regards to the calendar improvements, post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are reviewed by our team and the status will change depending on Fitbit plans. Also, users have the opportunity to vote and comment on the idea to show their support.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.
I think you are probably referring to the desktop version of the app, because on iOS phone the pencil is not there. I can only rename changing to one of the pre existing workout shortcuts. Could you please provide more details about how to do it on the phone app?
Thanks for the assistance.
Regards

@Kickgoals Thank you for getting back.

I've updated the instructions provided before as they might differ to Android users. It should be "Categorize Exercise", check the screenshots below:

Dear Silviafitbit,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Under “categorise” I can only choose one of the pre-existing exercise shortcuts, I cannot type anything of my choice. Please advise if this is what you meant because the suggestion reported was about being able to customise and this does not address it.
Thanks for your assistance.

@Kickgoals Thank you for getting back.

Take into consideration that you will be able to categorize the activities by using one of the exercises on the Fitbit database. If you'd like to create a custom activity and then use it to rename the ones you're doing, follow these steps:

- Go to your online Dashboard

- Tap on Log > Activities

- Scroll down until you see "Activities"

- Select "Create Custom Activity"

- Enter the name and next time you want to use it, just type the name

Hope this helps.
