Music volume low on latest Apple update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just updated to the latest version on my iPad and the music volume is super low.  If I turn it up, the trainer’s voice is too loud.  Please fix.  Rather hear the music instead of the trainer!

@SunsetRunner I appreciate you stopping by and welcome to the community! So I just tested the audio during a workout and can definitely hear a discrepancy with the audio. The music volume is too low in relation the coaching tips volume level. I've flagged this one for our engineering team to look into. Will update when I hear an update.

Thanks for letting me know about this!

Yes, please update this soon or I will have to find another app 😬

I'm having this problem on iPhone as well, thank you for working on it!

Me too!   Waiting for this to be fixed...

Is there an update on this, I just signed up today and if this is how it is going to be, it will be very difficult to stay motivated.

Trying to fix this, I've found an 'Audio Mixing' option in the Website settings* that looks like it's supposed to deal with this, but it doesn't really have any effect on the iPad app. That setting isn't available on the iPad app. Perhaps next update? I really should try out a coaching session from the web site in order to test.

edit: I've tested the website now and noticed it has a volume control so there's no problem there, just in the ipad app.

Ugh!  Just bought the app!  LOVE IT!  But HATE that the music volume is sooooo low compared to the coach!  Please fix ASAP.  This has been a know issue for over a year, based upon this forum.  If not, how can we get reimbursed?

Unfortunately, the Fitbit Coach still has this problem. Just signed up for it, and the volume of the music is very low in comparison to the coach talking. Very disappointed with how long this problem has been going on for.

Still a problem.

This feedback is pretty terrible.. I just tried the app for the first time and had the same issue, but knowing now it’s been an issue for more than a year and hasn’t been fixed I won’t be renewing my subscription.
