My experience with the cancellation of Premium

I’ve been trying to cancel my free trial since Jan 24. I’ve sent emails asking for an update - no response; have had 3 “chats” and just get told it’s with the “special” team. I’m absolutely frustrated beyond belief. I feel this is delaying tactics so that I am charged. My trial runs out in 10 days and I’ve tried to cancel with customer support and am just getting nowhere. Every time I’ve been promised an email with an update and have had absolutely nothing. It’s an absolute joke. I’m at the point now where I’m going to have to cancel my credit card. Absolutely furious at this inept company

I was recently charged over $100 for premium service after my free trial with no notification my free trial was ending. I did the chat thing where I was told to cancel the service and wait for an email about refund. Email came after I canceled but it states no refund. I replied to the email about what a scam this is since I was never notified. I just noticed the charge on my credit card. Now I will be disputing this as their contract with me stated no charge would be applied without notice after my 6 month free trial. I like the device but think now I should have got an apple watch instead. This is the info I was able to find somewhere on their website: Free Trials. From time to time, we may offer free trials of certain Subscriptions for specified periods of time without payment. If we offer you a free trial, the specific terms of your free trial will be provided in the marketing materials describing the particular trial. Once your free trial ends, we (or our third-party payment processor) will begin billing your designated payment method on a recurring basis for your Subscription (plus any applicable taxes and other charges) for as long as your Subscription continues, unless you cancel your Subscription prior to the end of your free trial. Instructions for canceling your Subscription are described in the sections above. To avoid any charges, you must cancel your Subscription before the end of your free trial period. Before charging you at the end of the your free trial period, we will notify you of the applicable fees. I'm in Canada and don't even know what the premium service is (poor marketing on their part) and I don't believe I used any premium service in the 6 months I've been using the device.

Exact same experience, except mine auto-renewed for a full year and can’t get my money back.  What a scam!  Can’t believe this is really the way FitBit does business this way.
