Not able to get 6 month free premium with Sense purchase

I’m not able to get the free fitbit premium subscription that comes along with fitbit sense purchase. 

I’m not subscribed to fitbit premium currently and i’ve used free trial before. Is there a way I can get the free fitbit 6 month subscription that comes along with the purchase.

I believe you will find your answer here:https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2437.htm?Highlight=Premium#cancel. Pay special attention to the second item covered “How Do I Purchased or Start My Trail of Fitbit Premium” Under that section it states: 

If the Fitbit device you purchased indicates that it includes a trial to Fitbit Premium, but you are currently a Fitbit Premium member, then you must cancel your Premium subscription in order to be able to activate the trial. About 1-3 days after your canceled subscription expires, you’ll see an offer in the Fitbit app to begin the trial. For instructions on how to cancel your Fitbit Premium subscription

None of the options work for me. As mentioned earlier, i’m not subscribed to fitbit premium and i’ve used fitbit premium free trial earlier. So there is nothing to cancel the subscription. I believe the free trial option should come automatically but its not.

PS I’m an iphone user, may be its different for android and iphone.
