I recently bought a Pixel Watch 3 which comes with a 6 month trial subscription to FitBit Premium from the Google store. When I purchased the watch, it asked for my email account, which I assumed was for tracking the shipping of the watch. Turns out that the FitBit Premium account is also now irrevocably tied to that Google account as well. I gave the watch to my daughter as a gift, but now she doesn't have access to the trial subscription. None of this was even slightly clear when I ordered the watch. I understand that new subscribers can get a 3 month trial, but she really should be entitled to 6 months. I called support and asked if the subscription could be transferred, or if they could kill my subscription and grant her a new one (neither of us have used it yet) and was told that this is not possible. I'm very disappointed that no accommodation could be made here, since I was lead into doing something that wasn't my intention from the very beginning through no fault of my own. I have no intention of using the 6 month subscription myself so it is completely wasted on me. It was supposed to be for my daughter. Can't they just grant her a 6 month trial and cancel mine?

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Fitbit Community.
I understand your frustration with the Fitbit Premium subscription not being transferable. Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, it’s not possible to transfer a subscription from one account to another.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll still be able to enjoy the benefits of Fitbit Premium.
If you still want to get your daughter a subscription, you'll need to do it through her own app.
